The NYCD Emerald Society 68th Annual Scholarship Dinner Dance is on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Antun’s of Queens Village, centrally located at 96-43 Springfield Blvd, Queens Village, New York 11429.
The festivities start at 7 pm with Antuns Deluxe Cocktail Hour, 8 pm Award Presentations, Open Bar, Dinner, and Dancing until midnight with entertainment for the evening DJ Cash and the NYCD Pipes & Drums.
The Society will honor Correction Officer Matthew Romano (COBA Bronx Trustee) “2023 Irishman of the Year and Correction Officer James Quinn (Firearms and Tactics Unit) “2023 President James Mulvey Award recipient, Correction Officer Eric Cohn “2023 Public Service Award”, Deputy Commissioner Francis Torres (HQ) ” 2023 Civilian of the Year” and Emily Schroeder daughter of Correction Officer Robert Schroeder (retired) “2023 CO David J. Leahy Scholarship” recipient.
The Scholarship Dinner Dance subscription is $140 per person or $1400 for a table of ten. If you have any subscription/table questions, don’t hesitate to contact Dance Chairman Keith Blatz (see button below).
